Jesus is LOVE

Image result for christmas
It’s happy to celebrate. It’s enjoying to celebrate. It’s happy to be happy especially when you are celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ our Lord. Some people, they’re just excited of Christmas because of Santa Claus, Really? I was asking, is Christmas a celebration for Santa Claus? Why is it that every Christmas, I see so many displays but they are all concentrating on Santa Claus. They are concentrating on what gifts Santa Claus can give. I don’t hate Santa Claus. It’s just that, when it’s Christmas, why don’t we just focus on Jesus?

We are celebrating because we are appreciating the sacrifice that Jesus had. Jesus saved us from our sins from being crucified. There is Christmas because there is love. Love was started when he let himself being crucified for us and now, we are giving back to Him His love. We are also celebrating to be happy. Happy because we are loved and we are safe.

Christmas is all about Jesus and Jesus is LOVE.

Men=Women

In early years, as I learned, women had less rights in some country, even here in Philippines. There were some cases, if a man and a woman are married and they make a divorce, only the man could get all their things or properties. Nothing could a woman get. In some case also, only the man had the right to go outside and his wife must stay in their house and do the house hold chores. In the movie “Mulan”, only men can fight the enemies because the characters think that the women can’t fight. In these cases, only men are being benefited, loved, precise.  In this case, we can say that men are stronger and women are just useless.

But everything has changed. We have now the so called “Gender Equality” where men and women including LGBTQ have equal rights. If a man can fight, a woman can also do. If a man can lift heavy weights, a woman can also do. Now, men cannot abuse women anymore. No one can say that men are greater than women. Now, anyone can apply the work they want to apply. For example, if there are Policemen, there are also Policewomen. If there are Firemen, there are also Firewomen and other heavy works.

God made us equally so let’s just be equal.

Kung Marangal Ka, Marangal din ang mga Bata

CHILD LABOR.

Communicate NOT Break

CREATE YOUR FUTURE

In every step that we take, reading is always there. Preschool, elementary, high school, we’re always reading. We, high school students may say “we already know how to read”. Yes we know how to read already and that is an advantage for us to learn new words easier.

The theme of English Month Celebration "PAGBASA: Susi sa MAgandang Kinabukasan" is an another inspiration to us students especially students at lower grades. The theme is again a reminder to us that if we do not know how to read, it’s like we have no good future. In every profession, reading is always there. I think, this month, they are encouraging us, high school students to teach students at lower grades for this is the key to success. This is the first step to our better future.

“The best way to predict your future is to create it”. It’s up to us if we like better future or not, or if we like to work for it or not.

UN Month Celebration

THEME: COMING TOGETHER WITH THOSE FURTHEST BEHIND TO BUILD AN INCLUSIVE WORLD OF UNIVERSAL RESPECT FOR HUMAN RIGHTS AND DIGNITY.”

The first word that came to my mind when I saw the theme is “unity”. Unity for us to be better because when we say “unity”, it means we respect each other because we are helping each other.

“Together we stand, divided we fall.” Lines that I think connected to the theme. Together we create a world of universal respect for human rights and dignity as it said on the theme. Together we create a beautiful and peaceful world.

When we were born, we already have the rights. The right to live, live in a peaceful place, the right to be loved and cared, etc. As we get older, we are getting matured and as we are getting matured, we are learning more about human rights. We are learning these for us to know when we will fight and what is our ace to fight. And these human rights are our ace.

We have the right to be respected, each and everyone so it’s our obligation to respect others

I Thank A Teacher Because I Could Write This

This month, first week, people celebrated the World Teachers’ Month. October 3, 2018, ISNHS celebrated the teachers’ month. There were little teachers. Some, they prepared surprises for their advisers. Also that day, all teachers went to gym.

This month is special for teachers for this is their month. This month gave us, students an opportunity to express our gratitude. Maybe for teachers, saying “thank you” is enough because that means a lot. But for us students, just saying “thank you” will never be enough. They sacrificed and still sacrificing to help us to be a better person, to reach our dream, and to be a successful man/woman someday. That’s why we surprised our loving adviser and we gave our subject teachers a gift to make them feel special even just for this month.

I, as a writer am thankful that I could write this and I will always be thankful. Not justt for this month, today, tomorrow, the day after tomorrow, but everyday. I am so thankful.

Science Month Celebration

A man already invented so many things that can make our lives easier. We have electric fan for the air, gadgets for communicating, TV to watch, etc. Truly people nowadays are so intelligent that they can make things that we think do not exist.

This Science month, we are learning to be more intelligent. It makes us think that we can do more. It encourages us to make our own. If scientist, engineers, or others could invent high tech things, this science month celebration makes us think that we can also do what they can do even just in our dreams.

Regarding to the celebration, competition, especially G. At Bb. Kalikasan which cannot be not there, and the biggest event during Science month celebration, in short, the highlight of the celebration went viral within the campus. After and before the competition, students were talking about this. The competition, and the whole science month celebration was successful.

Donwn, Stand UP!

In our lesson in Araling Panlipunan 10, I learned that Philippines is prone to disasters because it is located near the Pacific Ring of Fire which makes the volcanoes active and near West Basin where the typhoons are coming from. Typhoons are the most common disaster that Filipinos are suffering from as we can observe. Typhoons, volcanic eruption, tsunami, these disasters can also take lives and that is where we are afraid for.

These are the reasons why Filipinos are being down. The victims, they need to find a new house, they need to find a food for them to survive. They need to move on for a new life without their loved ones. Yes, because disasters can tale lives. But despite of all these challenges, Filipinos can still manage to live. When I experienced flood, yes, all my clothes, notebooks, books, they were all destroyed. I didn’t think I could still continue my life and yet, I’m still here, writing this blog, continuing my journey.

And that shows my resiliency as a Filipino. We may feel down sometimes, but life is still going on. We just have to be strong.

An embedded civilian journalist taking photographs of US soldiers in Pana.
Embedded journalism refers to news reporters being attached to military units involved in armed conflicts. While the term could be applied to many historical interactions between journalists and military personnel, it first came to be used in the media coverage of the 2003 invasion of Iraq. The United States military responded to pressure from the country's news media who were disappointed by the level of access granted during the 1991 Gulf War and the 2001 U.S. invasion of Afghanistan.

Bansa Natin, Sariling Wika Natin, Ipagmalaki Natin

Gamitin natin ang talino natin upang ipagmalaki an gating bansa.

Ipagmalaki natin na tayo ay Pilipino!

SONA 2018

President Rodrigo Duterte delivered his State of the Nation Address or SONA on July 23, 2018 at Batasan Pambansa in Quezon City. He talked about War on Drugs, Human Rights, War Against Corruption, Bangsamoro Organic Law, War on Terror, Foreign Relation, West Philippine Sea, Migrant workers, Coconut Farmers, Trust Fund, Third Telecom Players, Boracay Rehabilitation, National Land Use Act, Disaster Preparedness, Responsible Mining, Tax Reform Law, Food Security, Universal Healthcare Bill, Charter Change, completely. His words of wisdom captured the hearts of many Filipinos.

Honestly, this is my first time to watch President's SONA and yet he impressed me so much that I could imitate his words, but not really. Yes, he captured my heart. When he said that he cares about human lives, I felt like I was protected. And yes I am protected, we are protected. He even said that he is concerned about the present and future. What really captured my heart is that he said that he will not allow the crimes to destroy the succeeding generations. This captured my heart because we, students are the succeeding generations. He said that he will not allow crimes to destroy the future. "Not during my turn" he said.

He truly is a father. He was made to inspire us. He knows the problems, our problems, and he knows how to solve it. We just wait. I hope all his plans for this country will be implemented.

Plant and Be Strong

Children, even some teenagers nowadays are belittling farmers and they say “they are just farmers”. Why do they belittle farmers? Because they are working with mud and their parents are working with computers, papers, and no flaws on their hands? Because farmers are working under the sun causing sunburned skins while their parents are working inside a room with air conditioner? Why? Why don’t they think about it carefully? When there are no farmers, can they eat? Can we eat? Can we get nutritious foods?

I knew it. Children don’t give farmers importance because children nowadays are growing up with processed foods and they don’t care about the farmers’ plants. For their breakfast, hotdog, noodles, tocino and other processed foods. When they go to school, their lunch are tocino again or hotdog again. They are used to eat unhealthy foods. They are not aware of healthy foods especially fruits and vegetables, why? Because they don't know how to plant  because they are concentrating on their gadgets and don't care about these. They maybe don't even know what are vegetable plants look like. So as we can see, many children nowadays easily get diseases. They are so lame that they could not play outdoor games like sports. Can we see now the pattern? If do not plant, we cannot gain healthy foods and without healthy foods, we can't be strong.

Now, we should learn how to plant and we should teach the children too. They don't know how to plant? Then let's teach them. Let them know the importance of planting and let us do it daily. We all want to be strong so let us unite and fill this world with healthy foods.

My Letter to the Honorable President

 Dear Mr. President,

At first, during the elections, I didn't know you so I didn't want you. I even told my    father to vote Grace Poe instead of everyone. But I was just a little girl then. When my father told me that he would vote you, me be like "who is Duterte Everyone in our barangay wanted to vote you. Tricycle drivers, vendors, they all have that poster containing "DU30". And then you won.

On your first days, I didn't believe on what you said that "change is coming". I didn't believe you. But the days passed and I learned to accept you. Yes you are a good leader. You are intelligent, you are brave, you know a lot about law and that's why you impressed me more. Yes the change came. The drug users in the Philippines decreased and still decreasing under your rules. You are strict.

Another one,  you implemented the "No Assignment Policy". We, students were very happy to know that. You were so good. I was so thankful for what you implemented. But I'm so sorry to say Sir, I can't afford to be a fan of you. Because every time I hear you speak, there are always bad words on what you are saying.  I am not a fan but I am not a hater Sir.

Thank you Sir for all the goods you've done to the Philippines. I just hope now sir that your project is to decrease the poor people in this country.  Jahn Supnet Sir and that's all thank you.

Sincerely Yours,

Jahn Supnet

A Day to Remember

Every year, Filipinos are celebrating the Philippine Independence Day. Every month of June, Philippine Flags are displayed everywhere and news are all about Independence Day. But some students, they are only celebrating because no classes at June 12. Even some workers.

But why do we really celebrate Independence Day?

Before recognizing the independence of the Philippines, Filipinos suffered from the merciless of the invaders. They treated Filipinos as their slaves. Filipinos couldn't do what they wanted to do. But there went the brave heroes, without thinking about their lives, fought for the Philippines. They succeeded and finally liberated. And now, we are celebrating it as "Philippine Independence Day".

We are celebrating Independence Day because finally, we have now freedom. the most important , we are celebrating to honor the heroes who fought for the freedom of the Philippines. Now, we can live our lives peacefully. We can now do things we want to do. We can now achieve our dreams.
