Every year, we are celebrating our own festivals. Longganisa festival, Binatbatan Festival and of course Kannawidan Festival. Here, we are celebrating our own culture, our own tradition, our talents, we are celebrating as Buigeños and as Ilocanos!
When I went to Kannawidan, I saw different things. Different products from different towns. I saw great things that I never know Ilocanos could do. I also watched the competition for folk dance and I felt how they patronize our own culture. I saw how they are happy in dancing a folk song. There are also competitions that Ilocanos are joining to prove their selves that Ilocanos are also have talents.
By these, I learned that by celebrating our festivals, we are also showing our talents so I learned that these festivals are platforms to show our talents and to be proud of them.
